September 17th promises to be a Latin fiesta like no other. No, it’s not Cinco de Mayo, but it will certainly be hot (muy caliente!) at the Fiesta Indianapolis, the premiere Latino celebration for 2011. September is National Hispanic Heritage Month and what better way to celebrate your inner Latino or Latina than with a fun filled day of music, dance and lots of food.
The fiesta is sponsored by La Plaza whose mission is to bring together resources for area Latino families in need of educational, health and social service programs. Empowerment and building bridges within the local Hispanic community takes a village of committed locals and visitors to help the growing needs of Latino families in the area.
