Get your jazz on with the 2011 Indy Jazz Fest scheduled for September 12th through the 17th at the Optimist Park on the Indianapolis Art Center Grounds. Three music stages and a large variety of vendors are available to make the festival a fun event for the whole family.

Artists featured at the event include George Benson, Yellow Jackets, Rufus Reid, Spyro Gyra and a variety of performances by other jazz artists as well as local high school and university jazz bands and ensembles. Preferred seating tickets are on sale now for $75 with private cash bar, bathrooms and limited up front seating. General admission seating is $30, and passes are also available for entry every day of the event for just $99. Certain events are free. See the Indy Jazz Fest website for more details: www.indyjazzfest.net.
Proceeds help benefit the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation that was established in 1995 to bring music to youth in the city.
